This is a 1953 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup. This truck is equipped with an inline 6 (the engine does turn over.) It has a 4 speed transmission. The cab is in very good condition. The floor pans are good. There are small holes in the cab corners. There is some rust on the lower inside areas of the bed. This pickup has had sheet metal welded over the wood floor. This truck still has a lot of good things about it. Even though it is a 3/4 ton, all the cab parts will interchange with a 1/2 ton.
These trucks have become very popular with car shows and just ordinary driving. You can do as much as you want or as little as you want, and still have a very nice truck. No matter what they look like, I still like to see them coming down the road or driving through town.
