I bought this van out of Alabama about 6 months ago from the original owner.
It was all original, and rust free! We went fully thru this van, as we have been using it for our antique business.
We love this van, and get compliments on it all the time. The only reason we are selling it, is we ended up needing
a cube van. We paid $2500.00 for it, then $1000 to ship it to us. We have put another 4k into it fixing it up.
It runs and drives awesome. No issues at all!
We have put new tires, and mag wheels on it, front & rear brakes, fully tune up,
new battery & alternator, had the a/c charged, installed mechanical gauges, new Sony stereo & speakers,
new custom steering wheel, new ignition, exhaust replaced from muffler back, and transmission rebuilt, etc etc.
We had it Rhode Island safety inspected, and has a inspection sticker good for 2 years.
I would not hesitate to jump in this van and drive it cross country.
The paint was original when we got it, with a few places the old time touched up with primer.
The body is RUST FREE! It has one dent in the back drives side corner. As you can see, with distressed the paint, sanded down some areas to bare metal, and made it the paint look real beat up and worn, sort of a rat Rod look.
But could be easily painted, with almost no body work to look new.
We have the original paperwork and bill of sale from when it was bought new.
Rhode Island does not title vehicles older than 2000, so will provided our original RI registration.
That is all that is required to register this van in any US state.
We have set the reserve much lower that what we have into the van.
