Description:

1972 Chevrolet Chevelle ss

Straight outta the 70,s this is a orig no b.s car real documented 64,000 mile car sold new at Balise chevrolet in springfield mass with all orig paperwork to back it up,its a 1972 chevelle ss with the orig (born with)matching# big block engine that has never been touched still even has the smog system hooked up.All eng components ie :carb, dis, al, pulleys, radiator, fan, mainfolds, air cleaner, evap canaster and all gm hoses, etc are all orig to the car so u need to acquire nothing if u choose to restore this car and bring it to the next level. The desireable muncie 4 speed shifts smooth with its hurst shifter that was installed very early in life due to the fact the factory shifters were terribly sloppy and unreliable but the orig owner saved the orig shifter and it goes with the car, even the reverse lockout is still hooked up. Car has the hd 12 bolt axle with f41 swaybars front and rear and runs excellent smooth and strong for a 44 yr old car that is unrestored and sat in a garage since 1985,everything works on the car and u can drive it home i did(7 hrs)but the tires are dry cracked and i would,nt recommend it but they say iam crazy,it has a orig set of cool old school ansen sprint mags that were put on when new and a neat dealer installed pwr antenna for the cb radio. The car has a mix of orig paint and touched up areas on the usual lower 4 corners as a northeast car would but is by no means a rusty car, floors, trunk, hood, deck lid, doors, vinyl top are excellent orig pieces only the lowerlrf fender and quarters were blended in(not the best job late 1970,s) and the rf fender is rust free but poorly painted(believe it was replaced early in life with nos one) has a dent in the lf fender that any paintless dent guy could take care of and a scrape on the lr bumper area its all laquar and looks good from 50 ft but i just wanna be honest. The interior is all orig down to the carpet and is in really good shape for its age the drivers seat has a little wear on the seam and the headliner has a few small moth holes but thats it dash, console, door panels rear seat etc are super nice and everything works as it should even the am/fm 8 track cb radio that was installed in 74 (owner also kept orig radio comes with car). Now if u are still excited as i was about finding a true unrestored big block chevelle 4 speed survivor car that was unmolested then ull love the orig paperwork on this car, this is what we all look for when buying a collector car to prove its the real deal i have the orig protecto plate,2 build sheets, dealer invoice, orig ins papers, recall papers, sunvisor instruction cards and orig title copies. Now this is no stripped down column shifted ss 350 or a clone big block here...This is a real deal documented unrestored ss big block 4 speed with paperwork and very nice options like bucket seat, consol, tack&gauges, remote mirror,4 speed,f41,white stripes, vinyl top, tint glass,402/270 hp,am radio, etc. This is a true affordable collector car with the prices of 70 chevelles going up these baby brothers are sure to follow, in 1972 u can tell by the vin# that u have a true ss car so with all the paperwork, orig paint and survivor cond what we have here is a sure money maker$$$.Thanks and i will help with shipping any way i can if need be but like i said this car is a running driving piece happy bidding.
