Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Cabriolet. Chevrolet's of 1932 are often instantly recognized by the 4 hood vents on each side of the vehicle. On Deluxe models, these vents are finished in chrome which gives a very distinguished look. Under this unique hood is the "Stovebolt Six" 194 CID Inline 6 cylinder. This six features a downdraft carburetor and is rated at an impressive 60 HP. The 3 speed manual is shifted on the floor and is equipped with a "Free Wheeling" feature which allows the car to coast when the accelerator is not applied. Another neat feature is the Town and Country dual horns. This allows for a more subtle horn sound to be used around town and a higher decibel level for out in the country. This particular car has undergone a restoration several years ago and has held up well since. The car is a joy to drive and will gather looks everywhere you take it. This one is finished in an attractive canary yellow color which gives the car a high end look. The wire wheels are finished in the same yellow and are wrapped in wide white wall tires. The interior has brown upholstery which is sturdy, yet comfortable. The interior seats two, but for additional seating, the rumble seat will hold two more. If you've never ridden in a rumble seat, you have to try it. This car would be a great car show cruiser, parade car, or just a unique ride to run around town in.
