Description:

1978 Chevrolet El Camino

NO RESERVE!
You are bidding in a beautiful 1976 Chevrolet El Camino. I bought this classic to occasionally carry my vintage motorcycle around with me, till my girlfriend fell in love with this El Camino, and it's been our daily driver, 40 miles a day since. Not an authentic SS, but has the decals and grill emblem.
Clean Title on hand!
This car runs and drives great.
Starts on the first try every time.
Motor sounds excellent thanks to aftermarket mufflers
It rides really smooth, with BRAND NEW front tires, and LIKE NEW rear tires
Has some bubbling/typical chrome peeling and such for a 40 year old machine
FACTORY EQUIPPED V8 400 Small Block (This is a rare U code car!)
COLD AIR CONDITIONING!
4 barrel carb
3 speed Automatic Transmission (smooth shifting)
Upgraded Monroe Air Shocks
Paint, although doesn't appear to be original, looks great. Has has some light repair here and there to the typical rust spots on the lower panels, but nothing major.
Power brakes
Brand new cap and rotor
Brand new Battery
Royal Purple Synthetic oil used at all times
Power steering
Chrome looks really good for its age
Sprayed Bed liner
The interior cloth is in really good condition (see pictures), and the headliner is gorgeous
All interior lights work properly
Speedo, gas gauge, AC, stereo all function properly
All electrical works great with the exception of the small Aux meters, so I installed an Autometer water temp gauge (seen on the a-pillar)
Typical small oil, and atf drips, but I just stay ontop of it like a responsible owner should.
Please look at all the pictures, if there is something in particular that you want to see, let me know so I can send you pictures.
Mileage my change slightly, as I do still drive it:)
