Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Truck. There were only 2244 Cameo trucks built in '57. These stylishtrucks wereproduced from 1955 until early 1958. They featured a streamlined bed withspecialfiberglass panels use.This truck features tasteful upgrades & a powerful small block stroked V8. This is one that can be driven & shown. Chevrolet's streamlined 3124 Series Cameo Truck rides on a 114-inch wheelbase & is equipped with a 6.5 foot bed. The brakes on this truck have been upgraded with power front discs. The wheels of choice are 15-inch Ultra polished wheels with Futura GS radial tires (235/60R15s).

The bed of the Cameo trucks showcased design features such as smooth uncluttered tail light assemblies and a special fiberglass-shelled out tailgate panel.

The bed has been recently re-finished and is in excellent condition. The tool box is color-keyed to match the truck.

The fuel cell and battery are discreetly mounted.

Chromed bumpers grille and full wheel covers were standard on the Cameo trucks while optional on other models. The chrome is in excellent condition on this truck. Along with the other Chevrolet trucks the Cameo boasted a new grille design for the '57 model year.

The glass is in great shape throughout this truck including the big back window.

Originally engine displacement would grow to 283 cubic inches in the '57 Cameo. This example features a built 383 cubic inch stroked small block V8 that is plenty healthy. This engine features a 4bbl. Edelbrock carburetor aluminum intake custom exhaust & a mild performance cam. This is a potent engine. The engine compartment is very detailed with a professionally installed air conditioning system chromed pullies and more details. Cooling duties are handled with a large capacity Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator & electric fan. The firewall inner fenders and core support sheet metal is in excellent condition. This engine compartment features a host of billet details and will keep you busy polishing under hood.

The interior features custom upholstery along with an updated Dakota digital dash chromed ididit tilt steering column & leather-wrapped billet steering wheel.

The 2-tone dash is clean and detailed. The gauge cluster is a model for this truck by Dakota Digital Gauges.

The undercarriage is in very good condition. Bushings were replaced along with the shocks. The front brakes were updated with power-assist discs. The engine and transmission undersides are in good condition as is the differential. the cab floorboards and corners are in good condition as well. The rear end was built & gears replaced when the transmission was done. We have a docket full of receipts for many of the parts and work that went into this truck.
