Here is a little RED Coupe for you! This was my dads project while my mom was passing away with cancer. I have had it for three years since he died and it just has too many memories attached to it, so I am sell her. By the way her name is Leggs.
This 37 Chevy bus coupe is solid with no fiberglass parts. It sits on its original frame that has been modified to accommodate a Ford Mustang II front end and nine inch rear. The car had all new glass installed when it was built. The wiring was done at time of build. The frame has evidence of the modifications but rest assured this vehicle has been inspected and approved by the field agent dmv officer of NC.
Since we bought the car we had the engine professionally built, it is a 350 with aluminum heads, 480 lift, 292 duration, 9.5-10 compression and is set to 950-1000 idles. It also has edelbrock valve covers and breather and intake. The transmission is a 350 with a 2500 stall converter with a shift kit. The starter is jeggs high performance, the radiator is jeggs all aluminum with aluminum shroud and electric fan. The gas tank is chev's of the 40's all stainless steal. Auto tech gauges, bmw z3 leather seats both power. Door handles and trunk are vintage and keyed so the car may be locked. We have only put about 900 miles on the car since we did all the work.
This not a show car but could be with your elbow grease and time. This is a driver and is ready to go to the cruise in down the road from your house! All the heavy lifting has been done now you make her yours!
This car is way to nice to sit and collect dust in the garage. I have two other projects that I am working on and I NEED the room in the work space. My loss is you gain. Hit me with your best offer and let's make her have a new home.
