1958 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Listing for sale a running/driving relatively clean and straight 1958 Chevrolet DelRay (very similar to the Bel Air / Belair). Came across this after it had been sitting for 4yrs before which it was a daily driver. It's in surprisingly good condition for it's age with minimal rust. This would be a solid daily driver with almost no work or an excellent candidate for any kind of restoration or hot rod build. I'm not particularly knowledgable on vehicles but the man I purchased it from stated drive train includes:"0.030 over 327 V8 and Turbo 350 with a shift kit. Also has a 290 or 310 ring and pinion" No problem achieving free-way speeds. He cut the exhaust off. As you can tell is pretty loud without the muffler but the engine purrs beautifully once warm (probably even better after you adjust the carb change points plugs etc). No knocks. Starts easily.Automatic transmission shifts smoothly however the linkage on the column is sticky and will need some revising (however this is all peripheral linkage and a pretty easy fix). Super low reserve so IT WILL SELL bid to win!I reserve the right to end the auction early for local sale if reserve is not yet met

Good:California CarRegistered through 2016 with a clear titleMinimal RustPeripheral lights all seem to workSolid Drive-trainOverall straight metal with a few dings/dents as picturedIntact glass all aroundChrome appears to be all there (but look for yourself)Floor pans appear rust free (although has had some small patches repaired as pictured)New BatteryGood oil pressureBrakes pretty wellHorn and lights workGas Gauge worksBad:Tiny bit of through rust over left headlight and left rear fender (as pictured). Only surface rust on roof (no repair needed)Left front broad dent (easily pulled).Shift Linkage is sticky and it's sometimes difficult to switch between park rev neutral and drive but once in gear no problem. It's not already in your drivewayMissing some door panels and inner trim but these kits are readily available. What you see is what you get.I am by no means a car expert or mechanic. Please examine the pictures closely and ask lots of questions (I'll try to answer). If you're near Sacramento CA please message me to arrange a visit if you prefer. $250 Paypal deposit due immediately at end of auction with full payment and pickup within 2 week of auction's end (unless other pickup arrangements made prior to end of auction). Not available for pickup between June 14 and 19th as I'll be out of town.

In response to some inquiries the car would should be trailered at time of pickup as it's been sitting for 4 yrs without service. Will need a full inspection regular maintenance and then some before truly road worthy (in my opinion...but it's registered if you're more adventurous).

Performed a couple more tasks requested:Went around with a magnet and it seems to stick everywhere...don't see evidence of bondo (although not a trained eye but appears all steel and magnet seems to stick everywhere). In the trunk there appears to be a lot of the dash trim and knobs including the chromed glovebox visors stainless some knobs/levers etc.
