1969 Chevrolet Other Pickups

This is a 1969 Chevy C20. I have done nothing to it other than drive it on the weekends for short trips to the store and occasionally to a local classics shows to talk to other Chevy truck owners. This truck is a turn the key and go truck. Other trucks like this are selling for more and offer less from the starting gate. Most of the work is done unless you want to change the motor and tranny to go faster. The truck was in a state of partial restoration when I bought it from the previous owner. The previous owner inherited it from his uncle who originally started the restoration but then got sick and passed away. The truck then sat for 5 years in a garage until I purchased it. I had my mechanic tow it and change the oil and gasoline and give it a good check over to see its road worthiness before I drove it.
It drives great, has good get up and go and gets a lot of attention and compliments. It does need some floor pan work but very minimal in my opinion and has some rust from sitting. The rust spots are on the tailgate and passenger door at bottom and under the hood on the fender wells. Very minimal rust on this truck. When I went over this truck with a magnet I couldn't find ANY spots with bondo. From what I can see it had some new parts installed, it came with parts that I had installed and it comes with a working extra dash cluster, fuel gauge, an extra intake manifold with carb attached, a couple extra original steel wheels, an old but functional voltage regulator ( I had a new one put on), a new headlight switch and some original 12" dog dish hub caps that need redone. It has new trailing arms, brake and fuel lines and new light bulbs. Put better tires on this truck and I believe you could drive it anywhere.
The truck is a 3 on the column shift and shifts great. There is some play in the steering but nothing deadly and easily fixed. The odometer says 49k but the title says discrepancy which I would imagine is because maybe it turned over at one time? I was told the motor was rebuilt before the guy died, I have no proof but again, The truck runs great and apears to have had engine work done! Needs new plugs and wires and cap/rotor but I may do that before this truck sells. It starts easily. No power anything but still is a great truck. I'm only selling it because I need the money for a daily driver for my wife.
This truck is for sale locally so make me an offer now! I have been asked by several ebayers what the insured value of the truck is. I'm not sure why people want to know this but it is insured through Hagertys for $10k total gauranteed payout and the truck had to be inspected before the policy was written.
I WILL NOT SHIP THIS TRUCK. BUYER MUST PICK UP OR ARRANGE PICKUP. CASH UPON PICKUP AND YOU WILL HAVE 48 HOURS TO PICKUP UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN AGREED UPON.
