1964 Chevrolet Corvette
This auction is for a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe. One of 8,304 built that year. As you can see by the pics it had some customization which was done back in the 1970's. That was common to do back then but is very reversible should you want to go back to the original look. The car has a nice frame. No repairs or patch work. Underside is good and solid. The outside shell is in decent shape considering its age. It did have a small flair done to the rear fender lips and also the headlight treatment up front. A 1967 Big Block Stinger Hood replaced the original one. Paint is showing its age. This is a good driver quality type car as most of these have been restored and are out of the everyday working mans price range. The motor is a 1972 Camaro 350, 4 Bolt Main that runs beautifully! Four Speed Transmission that has been totally rebuilt and while out we had a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing replaced. Has Power Brakes with a new Master Brake Cylinder. No power steering. Interior is in good usable shape. Leather seats newly upholstered, excellent dash, clean gauges all in working order, AM/FM Radio that works and a fairly expensive CD set up with amp mounted in the rear of the car. Bumpers are in fair condition. Has fairly new set of Fire Hawk Indy 500 Radial Tires mounted on vintage Torque Thrust Wheels. Has the outside mounted exhaust that has a nice tone. This is a good car to drive and enjoy as it is and fix it nicer as you go along. They are not getting any cheaper.
