1967 Camaro SS 4K CODE L78 396-375 HP Project car!

One of 1,138 made, less than ¼ known to exist.

Clear Title in my name.

This car needs full restoration.Does not have original running gear, it was removed years ago.It has a CE warranty replacement block with a date coded Muncie 4-speed that has been disassembled with some bad gears.Original Muncie shifter and now has a 10-bolt rear end .The car does not run or drive. I was told the engine was running three years ago with very few miles on it.No warranty, SOLD AS IS.

NCRS information shows the car being sold new at Indian River Chevrolet Company, which was located in Cocoa, FL.

The car started life in Florida then went to North Carolina sometime in the late 80’s and remained there until 2012. Then in 2012 was located to VA, which is where it remains now.

Wheel opening moldings, drip rail chrome, front & rear window chrome, SS fender and grille emblems, Camaro header panel & fender emblems, trunk rubber, cowl panel & roof rail weather stripping, parking light assembly’s, front bumper, front outer bumper brackets, lower alternator bracket, battery tray & hold down, dip stick and tube,exhaust manifolds, upper shock mounting plates, carpet, horn button mounting kit, plastic firewall plugs, gas tank mounting hardware, front sway bar bushings and end links, NOS ignition switch, ignition bezel nut, NOS bell housing dust shield, battery cables, fan shroud, steering flange, dimmer switch, tail light gaskets, inner fender splash shields, quarter window seals, package tray insulation, fuel pump and lower air cleaner base.

About the car, it does not appear to have ever been restored or involved in any accidents. It looks like it has been painted twice with original sheet metal except for the front clip.Typical Camaro rust issues and most parts have been purchased to repair, they are listed above.It does have rust in the upper cowl area around the wiper motor and upper corners were the dash meets.

I replaced the front sheet metal with used rust free GM PARTS and original mounting hardware.

Used GM Rust free none spoiler deck lid installed.

Good front sub-frame.

Excellent rear frame rails.

Mostly complete car.Items I do NOT HAVE: Console & mounting bracket, under hood wiring harnesses, traction bar, wiper washer pump, horn button, key switch, Vinyl top chromeand three headliner bows.
