1979 Chevrolet Camaro
I am selling my 1979 Camaro Z28. I purchased it from a man who purchased it from a family friends estate. The Original owner started restoring it back in 1987 and passed away prior to completing it. The wife kept the car covered in their garage and sold it late last year. I have included a photo of the title which states it's actual milege of 11,880 miles. It now only has 11,942. When I purchased the car it was completely rust free, all panels are original and rust free. The car has never been involved in a collision. I had the car completely pulled apart in order to paint it properly. All of the perishable items such as door trim, grilles have been replaced. This car is a time capsule. As close as you can get to a brand new 79 Z28 with the exception of the paint, which is much better than the original single stage paint. It was painted with Dupont Chroma Base and clear. I then spent many hours color sanding and buffing the finish to well beyond what it was new from the factory. Many of the items I purchased for the restoration were American made parts. This is a true collector grade car. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long road trip. After all the car only has 11,942 miles since the day it was built. The second generation Camaros are finally getting the love they deserve, and here is one of the lowest milege and one of the most desirable color combinations available in the second generation Camaros. If you have any questions, Please feel free to send me a message and I will respond as soon as I see the message. This listing may end at anytime as it is for sale via multiple outlets.
