Fly High at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, or Fly Low in America's sweetheart sportscar, the Corvette Stingray. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This car is beautiful to look at and a pleasure to drive. We hope you enjoy our presentation. Be sure to look through our detailed photos and play the special video of this '69 Corvette. You can reach Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns. Good luck in the auction.
The exterior displays exceptionally nice & professionally done Monza red base/clearcoat paint. The body fit and finish is just beautiful. The doors and fenders align correctly as does the hood.
The chromed front and rear bumpers are also in excellent condition. The headlamps are functional as well. Again, check out the video. The vacuum system was gone through on this Corvette in 2014. The convertible top was also replaced at this time.
Although the interior might take you back to 1969, it was restored completely in 2014 to original. Saddle Tan leather upholstery was used. The carpeting was replaced along with the map pocket on the dash. The shoulder belts were replaced along with the the rear storage compartment doors. The floor mats were also replaced. This is just a beautiful interior.
The factory tachometer and speedometer are fully functional as are the auxilary gauges.
Again, the interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery is leather. The center console and controls are in great shape are the door panels. The correct Delco AM/FM radio is also equipped.
The shark gills would be seen for the last time in 1969, soon replaced by the egg crate grilles from '70 to '72.

Under the hood is the highly detailed & previously rebuilt original 350/300HP 4bbl. V8 engine. Important options are power-assist brakes & power steering. Although all 1969 Corvettes came with 4-wheel-disc brakes, power-assist was still an option, as was power steering.

The engine compartment is in great shape, displaying the correct components such as the chromed ignition shielding and breather assembly.
You can clearly see the engine pad stamping in the photo above. This is the VIN stamped original 350/300HP block.
The engine compartment really is in excellent condition. The factory exhaust system breathes through the correct and reliable GM cast-iron manifolds.
The trim identification plate is in place. According to the plate this car was originally Riverside Gold.
The windshield pillars are in excellent condition as is the original VIN plate.
You can see the extent of the time and restoration efforts afforded to this special '69 Corvette underneath. The suspension was previously rebuilt front to back. The brake system has recently been serviced as well. The framework and flooring is in great shape. The birdcage is solid.
The door undersides are excellent.
Look closely and you can see the truly excellent condition of this paint and body. We see a lot of classic Corvettes and this is one exceptionally nice example.
The correct 15-inch Rally Wheels wear updated B.F. Goodrich radial tires all around, sized at 225/70R15.
The tan convertible top assembly was replaced in 2014 and is in excellent condition as is the Soft-Ray tinted glass.
