1980 Chevrolet Other Pickups

This is a 1980 Chevy LUV. It has been my daily driver for the last year and a half. I will try and describe it to the best of my ability.
I received this truck about 2 years ago in non running condition. The truck has great patina and had already been lowered. It has the 17" wheels you see in the pictures that are from a mid 2000's silverado with brand new run flat tires. When I got it, it had a rusted out fuel tank. I dropped the tank and put a 12 gallon aluminum fuel cell underneath that is accessible through the bed of the truck. I installed new fuel line and ran it to the existing electric fuel pump I received with the truck. At that time I also installed the following:
-Weber 32/36 Carburetor
-New Air Filter
-Holley Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Fuel Filter
-Spark Plugs
-Spark Plug Wires
-New Distributor
-New Points
-New Condenser
-New Valve Cover Gasket
-New Oil Pressure Switch
-Wired in an MSD ignition box. This allows the points to pretty much never go bad and increases your spark.
At that time I completed a full tune up on the engine, tuned the carburetor, adjusted the timing and made it run perfectly. I also installed a new exhaust system from the header back with a nice high flow 2" in / out thrush muffler and ran the exhaust out the side of the truck bed.
Everything works really well on the truck. I just rebuilt the wiper linkage and replaced the windshield wipers. The motor works nice and smooth. All lights work as they should. Headlights, high beams, running lights, brake lights and reverse lights all work properly. Blinker work great and run off of a new aftermarket switch on the column. Gauge lights also work. Horn works via push button on the dash. Also has an aftermarket steering wheel that can be seen in the pictures. No radio. Dash is very cracked underneath the dash mat.
When I got the truck, the front floor pans had been replaced. The rear floor pans were in perfect condition. The seats are turbo 2 RX7 seats and are in average to good condition. Has wooden door panels as can be seen in the pictures.
The truck has been wet sanded and clear coated to protect the patina of this truck. The clear coat is not prefect has has some runs that could be wet sand and buffed out pretty easily. They are barley noticeable as they are so I never touched them. They body does have some rust as shown but none of it is structural and looks really cool.
The truck runs, drives and shifts great. I have never had any issues in the department. The engine runs like a sewing machine and does not smoke or use oil. Some of the things I can see being an issues or should be addressed: The tires are kind of small for the truck diameter wise. It runs at pretty high RPM's on the highway and could probably benefit from a slightly bigger tire. I usually cruise at 65 in the right lane down the highway. Also it is 36 years old and it has a four speed... The gas gauge does not work. They fuel cell has a sender and just needs an aftermarket gauge installed to match the sender. Also, the door seals need replacing. They are just old....
Overall it is a very cool little truck that draws attention everywhere. It runs great. With that being said, it is 36 years old and it is lowered. It's not like riding in a new car what so ever. It's much louder and is a bumpy ride (still has plenty of suspension travel even though it's lowered). If you drive or have driven old cars, you understand all of this already.
If there are any questions I can answer please let me know before bidding. I will be more than happy to answer. Truck is sold as is. Looking for $500 deposit at auctions end.
Thanks for looking!
