1937 Chevrolet Other Pickups

I am selling a 1937 chevy pickup truck hot rod project that never got completed. I bought it from an estate so have limitedknowledge on it. It comes with a clear ohio title. The widow to the estate informed me that her husband had put a new engine andtransmission in the truck . The engine is a 350 four bolt main with a rebuilt 700R4 transmission. She said that it had been built by a summit racing technician. I had removed some covers to try and determine as much as I could about the engine. It is a brand new fresh engine 4 bolt main. It has iron eagle dart heads 180's with angled spark plugs. It has comp cam roller tip rockers, comp cam push rod guide plates. I pulled the oil pan and pulled 1 rod cap and 1 main cap both were .010 undersized bearings. The pistons are of course, brand new - the only thing i could make of them is that on the underside I saw a #40 cast into the pistons. So, I am assuming that they are 40 over pistons. As you can see it has an aluminum finned oil pan. It has a Howard Stewartaluminum water pump, hooker block hugger headers, brand new holleycarburetor. The intake manifold on the engine in thepicture, will be removed and an alternate aluminum intake will be installed. As for the transmission, I don't know what level of racing transmission it is. I took pictures of the rear end - it's not the original but I am not surewhat it is. I comes with brand new disc brake calipers. The radiator is the original radiator to the truck. There is no drive shaft. The front suspension is still all the original suspension and steering. The frame is in excellent condition No pits, no rust. The bodyitself, as well as fenders, are very solid. The doors appear to have had patch panels put on the bottoms. The floor and rockers in the truck are extremely solid as well as the cab mounts. The rear fenders havea lot of dents as well as the tailgate. The frontfender are in exceptionally nice shape and so is the hood. The running boards are verysolid and in good condition. All the glass andframeworks are there but the windshield is only good for a pattern. There are 2 sets of extra headlights that come with the truck. There are boxes of parts inside the truck, as well as, miscellaneous pieces and panels in the bed of the truck. The truck does come with some new parts such as: new master cylinder & booster, hood latch handles, the Chevy emblems on the hood, the radiator ornament, top of the radiator shell (chrome), the grille was new but notproperly taken care of so it has rust issues. It also has a rechromed bumper that was not taken care of so now it needs rechromed. It has the original gas tank whichappears to be in good shape. It has the seat base but no cushion. It has the seat back. The bed sides are very nice. The engine and transmission have a great amount of value in themselves especially when I have a LOW RESERVE SET.The engine block is a highnickel 010 block.THIS IS NOT A RUNNING OR DRIVING TRUCK
This would make a great hot rod - it is a great foundation!!!
