1968 Chevrolet C-10

1968 Chevy C10 true short bed with matching frame numbers to VIN number in great shape with the odometer showing 79271 on it but this is undocumented and should be considered inaccurate because of the age of the truck. This is a really great truck and shows well. I have owned the truck for the past 2 years but most of the work was performed by the previous owner. I will list the items I worked on below. The truck has a 250 inline 6 cylinder motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine leaks oil but I do have a receipt from the previous owner that shows that the motor was replaced when the mileage was 75049 on 9-25-2008 also the clutch was replaced at the same time. I can not verify this but I do have the receipts from the engine rebuild company and the labor from a shop to install. I did lower the truck a small amount and I purchased a complete CPP suspension kit with 3" front springs and 5" rear springs, sway bars, adjustable track bar and shocks. I still have the original springs and track bar if you wanted to put it back to stock. Rust issues that I see are the drip rail on the roof has some rust colored staining coming through the sealant, one of the cab mounts has a rust hole in it, there is a rust hole on the inside of the truck on the driver side kick panel at the bottom next to the carpet and there is rust evidence on the floor on the drivers side where there is a factory seam between the floor and the firewall and also some spots on the driver side door sill that I also took a picture of. I included on the listing pictures of all 4 cab supports so you can see all details. There may be other rust issues but these are the ones I can see. Also the doors on both sides are a slightly different shade of red. It is hard to notice but worth mentioning. The bed floor is in great condition and looks like it hauled very little over the years. The bed has a non skid coating on the floor and sides. The tires have a ton of tread left please see photo. Overall this is a fun truck to own and drive and gets lots of attention but it is not a perfect show truck but more of a driver. It shows well but up close you can see the flaws in the paint. I even have the original Chevy Protect-O-Plate. I have nothing to hide and try my best to describe all details or damage of the truck but since it is a vintage truck and has been through many owners it would be impossible for me to know all issues or damage but I do my best to show all angles so you can see for yourself.
