Description:

1992 Chevrolet Camaro

I will do my best to fully describe item for sale and any flaws with this vehicle.
1992 Camaro Z-28 25th Anniversary Heritage (Z03) in the rare "Purple Haze" color. This also has the G92 package. My wife's uncle whom lived in South Carolina bought this from someone in Illinois in 2014. He passed away in April 2016 so we purchased it from his estate as he did not have any surviving children or spouse. He kept the car covered and under a carport the whole time he owned it. I have a clean title for the vehicle. Vehicle is located in SC.
What I do know: It has 50,850 original miles on the 5.7 L TPI motor. He put new tires, new shocks, new brakes, full synthetic oil, new ac delco plugs, new plug wires and new rear transmission seal on it right after he bought it. I have the receipts for that. It has power everything...power windows, power seats, power locks, cruise control, AC and grey leather seats. Everything works! The interior pretty much looks like it came off the showroom floor! The only interior issue I can find are the far left and right ac vents are both missing some of the louvers. There are no cracks in the dash or the seats. The rear power hatch motor also works. The motor runs strong and the transmission shifts smooth!
The flaws: The front has some stress cracks and some paint chipping as can be seen in the pictures. There is also 1 spot at the bottom of the passenger door that has a paint chip the size of a quarter, also in the pictures. I don't know if the car has ever been repainted. I'm pretty sure most of the car is the original paint because I don't see any signs of a paint job inside the door jams or rear hatch area. I do think the front plastic bumper may have been repainted at some point but not positive.
Also, whoever owned it in illinois did the car a great disservice by driving it on a salted road because there is some rust underneath the car. It is not bad but there is some corrosion under the car and very slight in the engine compartment.
Only 1,321 Heritage Edition Z28's were made in 92 as the last one was made on August 28th at the Van Nuys plant before it was shut down. Out of this number only 55 Z28 coupes were made in this color called "Purple Haze".
I believe I have described everything I know but feel free to contact me with any questions.
