MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present a very clean and well presented 1950 Chevrolet Styleline Sedan. The Deluxe Styleline was key to Chevrolet’s stunning success and delivered an outstanding combination of engineering, performance and styling.

The Chevrolet Deluxe was a trim line of Chevrolet automobiles, marketed from 1941 to 1952, the original series ran from 1941 to 1948, after which a new body style was introduced for 1949, running through 1952. During the post-war years and continuing through the early 1950s, the Deluxe range was Chevrolet’s sales leader, offering a balance of style and luxury appointments unavailable in the base special series.

Finished in a Deep Blue metallic this sedan shows extremely well. The exterior is tastefully broken up with a gold metallic pinstripe. The front chrome bumper with bumperettes fit is tight and finish is exquisite. The rear chrome bumper with bumperettes mirrors the condition of the front. The front grill is in very good condition. All the trim pieces are present and have a great finish. The headlights including bezels and the “Blue dot” taillights including the aluminum trim are in very good condition. The exterior matching sun-visor is in very good condition.

Inside, this Chevrolet features Blue and White front and rear vinyl seats that look great. The matching door panels, carpet and two-tone dashboard are a continuation of the striking interior of this Styleline and look fantastic. The light blue headliner completes rest of the interior and is in very good condition. The weather-stripping is in good condition, with little or no signs of tearing, drying or shrinkage. All the gauges have the correct appearance, location and function as originally designed. The white original Chevrolet steering wheel and push-button Motorola radio completes the interior.

Set on a custom lowered suspension, this Chevrolet comes equipped with a 235cid inline 6 cylinder engine, fed by a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor sitting on top of an Offenhauser intake manifold. Power is transferred to the wheels by a Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. Driver assist features include 4-wheel drum brakes. This example is also equipped with a Fenton split-exhaust manifold to a custom dual exhaust, creating a nice throaty sound. The 15-inch original steel wheels with Styleline cross-grid chrome three point star trim caps are surrounded with wide whitewall Grand Prix tires completes the look.
