Description:

1950 Chevrolet Convertible

I purchased this 1950 Chevrolet Convertible from the Lowden-Miller Family. They purchased the car new in 1950, then sold to me in 2010. The convertible was kept on the Lowden Estate in Oregon, IL for 60 years with one owner. Lowden was Governor of IL and heir to the Pullman Railroad Car Company. This car was never driven in the rain or snow and has original miles.
I have repainted the car to the original color black, replaced the interior with leather and cloth from SMS to the original specifications. I added a new canvas black top all to the original specifications. All of the mechanicalgone totally thru, gas lines, tank, brake lines, linings and cylinder all replaced. New hydraulic top, chassis and engine compartment detailed. All chrome is perfect and original to the car (re-chromed). All of this car is original, no parts are on this car that were not on the vehicle at the original build in Flint, MI. Car runs and drives as new, the original radio and heater work perfectly.
This is one beautiful 1950 Chevrolet with known history from never new, to never any rust period, this was kept on a private estate for 60 years.
