I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.You will get lots of attention whiledriving this beautiful vehicle. It is loaded with options& continues to increase in value. The interiorhas nice repro seat-covers& side panels. The carpet& topis new but not correct. I do have new correct 62sun visors in the box.The presentsteering column appears to be from a 1969 Camaro. I now have purchased the correct 62 steering column that has been painted withthe correct interior color with correct 2 colorsteering wheel. (Show quality). In addition I have purchaseda very nicecorrect 62 409 tachometer& sending unit. The originalcorrect factory sending unitholes are already in the inner fender ready to install. The present tachon the steering column isa transistor type. The car presently has 15" like new tires with the crager wheels. I have purchased the correct 1962 wheels that need to be blasted and painted. The orig. P/B transistor Delcoradioworks very well. The factory A/C was converted to R-134 Abut itneeds to be recharged. I have also purchased5 pieces ofNOS upperside moldingstainless trim.One rear S/S1/4 panelpiece&pass. dooris all NOS& the other3pieces are ImpalaNOSwith the heavy duty S/S repro inserts thatwereprofessionally installed. (The S/Sdoor piece on the driver's door presently on the caris in mint condition.)I also have 4 NOS Impalahub-caps with4 repro S/S spinners that go with the car. The presentS/S trunk panel& cove panels & front Grille Headlight doors grille guard and rear guardsappear to be NOS. Bumpers have been re-chromed.All of the extra items that go with the caramount to over$5000.00 alone. Call me with any questions regarding the extra parts. The trunk is original with no rust but needs to bepainted with correct spackle with62 paint spray cans. I have a nice usedset of repro trunk mats that go with the car. In addition I have a complete orig. 62 jack set complete that needs to be repainted. The engine is detailed to near show quality (Needs Refreshed)with thecorrect 62 air cleaner 62409 radiator 62 409 shroud etc. To the best of my knowledge thecar has the correct T-10 tranny with a 355.1 posi-traction rear.The 62 409shifter and linkage and shift plate are correct& in nice condition. The engine runs cool& the oil pressure is right on.A heat gauge has been installedin the dash& anoil pressure gaugehas been installednear thefirewall. I have a lot of money invested in this car but I am selling it for a reasonable price. The # 3"Collector Car Price Guide" showsthis conditioncar to bevalued at over $37000.00 (not including the extra parts) that I have purchased after buying the carvaluedat over $5000.00. At any rate you will have anice driver quality car as itisor you havethe potential of making ita show car with anew paint job with some other upgrades.In additionbyadding a lot of these extraNOSoriginal& reproduction partsthis could be a really nice show car. The stamping on the 409 block is T1022QC& the motorisloaded with the High performanceHeads solid lifter camshaft intake with 2X4 AFB carbs exhaust manifolds etc. The second owner spent over $10000.00 rebuilding this replacement engine about 10 years ago. The engine runs strong and smooth& is a lot of fun to drive.
