1969 Chevrolet Camaro

This is a driver's car! It's never been a showpiece...just a nice solid driver that has been cared for through the years. Owned by a couple doctors a contractor and myself (a teacher). A folder showing most of the work since the late 90's & the ORIGINAL SALES SHEET that was typed up on a typewriter and placed in the car the day it was purchased from Casey Chevrolet are included. It shows the original purchase price color trim etc... everything that would be on a sales sticker in 1969. I didn't take a picture of it because it's locked in a file cabinet and in the back of a climate-controlled storage unit as I'm in the process of moving. Which is also partially why I'm hesitantly selling my car. It was purchased as I mentioned from Casey Chevrolet in Newport News VA. I don't know much about cars but my dad & his head mechanic sat down with me to point out some highlights that buyers might want to know. Stock 350 engine. There use to be a bored-out Lunati 406 in it but it proved to be too much engine for me. That documentation is in the folder. 630 Speed Demon Carburetor. Motor is freshly sealed. Transmission is a 700R4 & has been built & has a shift kit. I was told this is a very nicely done transmission. Brand new control arm bushings. Brand new brakes. Brand new mufflers. Brand new idler arm. 3:73 posi unit. True dual exhaust. Has headers. No cam. New driver side window regulator. Window crank handle is missing on the passenger side. In an attempt to tighten the driver side side-view mirror we broke it. Some of the emblems have been snapped in half through the years as we've walked passed it and caught our pants on it. Driving it onto a trailer years ago I snapped the front spoiler so a new one has been installed. There's a nice gash in the driver-side real panel from a poor job of backing out of the garage. Non-matching numbers. 2 sets of wheels (Cragar and rally). Original ignition and trunk keys. AC not working. No radio. Fuel Odometer & Speedometer are inaccurate. Sales sticker says paint was white with stripes. In the middle of installing chest safety belts as well. Added a few gauges as you can see in the pictures. There are also lots of little parts/pieces that were being collected to put on/in the car over time that just never got done. Some are original GM parts and some are nice after-market parts. I pictured a few but most are not pictured. All in all a great driver ready for an experienced owner!!The comments here are my opinion of the piece. You should not bid or click buy it now until you feel you have enough information to form an opinion of your own. That's the nature of online buying. Let me know if you want any extra pictures or angles and/or if you want more information or an explanation about something. I'll try my best! Shipping is covered by buyer and cost will be determined once location is established.. I went and retrieved the original invoice and even the original DMV certificate both filled out at the dealership. Both are uploaded now for viewing. Very coolprovenance to have. I blacked out the original owners personal information but of course the actual documents are untouched.Lots of folks have asked about rust. It doesn't have any big huge rust problems that I see. Now...as I've said in the description I'm not a huge car guy. I know what rust is and I've seen metal rust and flake up and cave in to the touch. I don't see anything like that on this car. There are a few spots where paint has chipped off over the years. The metal under those tiny spots is all sort of colors. Some grey white brown etc... I don't know if I'm looking at rust or old paint or the color of the bare metal. Of course over the years some oxidation will occur but it's been garage kept and cleaned often. Like I said before...I hope no one is thinking this is a show car. Those are the $50000 + cars. I've (and all the owners before me) just been careful with it and taken care of it and stored it properly. If I could post more than 24 pictures I would. If you email me requesting any pictures at all I'll certainly take them. I have pictures of the spots I'm referring to and have sent them to several people. Just let me know. I'll take a picture of anything. Just ask :) Thanks and good luck.. After a gentleman asked me to lift up the back liner of the trunk and the carpet in the front I definitely discovered some rust. I pushed on the trunk bed pretty hard and it still seems firm. It bends a little but any metal would as hard as I was pushing. The front carpet was bolted in so that was tougher to access. I did manage to get some up and there appears to be rust under there as well. But it doesn't seem as bad as the back though. A lot of the deterioration was from the padding between the floorboard and the carpet. However I could see far less because I couldn't get the carpet up all the way. I don't know/think anything has been compromised however. I'll gladly send you these pictures if you send me a message requesting them. I also made a couple videos showing me start the car up as well as drive it for a few minutes. I can send those as well. I know this would normally bring the value of a car down but I truly believe I already had the price so low that this is still a good buy. As always never hesitate to ask any questions or request any pictures/videos. I'll do my best.
