1964 Impala Super Sport 22,560 original miles

1964 Chevrolet Impala

I am selling quite possibly the nicest 64 Impala ss to be found. This car only has 22,560 original documented miles matching numbers and I am the 3rd owner. I purchased the car in amazing condition 12 years or so ago from a friend who found it and couldn't afford to keep it. The car was rust free and always has been. We decided to completely go over the entire vehicle so we disassembled it and started with the frame which was also in great condition with no rust or anything wrong except we wanted a show car quality paint job on it. From there we took most of the parts and had them chromed, powder coated or painted. We had the motor rebuilt by a local well known engine builder with a small cam (nothing radical). The exhaust was also completely redone. As for the body we completely disassembled it and refinished it in Ppg high end paint. The interior much like the rest of the car was complete and in excellent shape. We wanted to give it a make over though to compliment the exterior so we upgraded the steering column and refinished the dash to match the frame. The seats we also wanted to freshen up so we had them reconditioned (all original matieral) in a brighter red to match the dash better. The goal with this car was too keep as many of the original parts as possible but just to update them. I have the original owners manual, build sheet and much more. We are professionals and have built many show cars so this car we are proud of very much and I can guarantee the next owner will be too.
