1957 Chevrolet Other

I have owned this pretty Sedan Delivery for 3 1/2 years and have rebuilt her from front to back. Everything listed (and more) is new/rebuilt within 2. 00 miles or less. This car is modified in a tasteful and understated fashion. It has been used primarily for local car shows as an advertising platform for my business (automotive appearance specialist) and is always garaged. The Midnite Blue Pearl paint has a subtle purple under tone. This is a nice driver/ show quality paint job (painted by previous owner) with virtually no orange peel and showing few minor defects. I added the paint divider trim pieces and polished aluminum "rockets" to fill the top gap where stainless wagon trim would go. The roof drip rail is painted the same cosmic grey as the 2 tone section and rims. This grey paint has a blue flake which brings the two colors together nicely. This Delivery has traveled under 800 mi. annually and has never been raced or abused under my ownership. The following is a list of upgrades added since I purchased the vehicle. 355 chevy small block bored . 30 over (I believe this is a late 70's style block with cast heads)crate motor with mild cam. ribbed aluminum oil pan. Edelbrock 600 series 4 barrel with Edelbrock chrome intake manifold. Pertronix distributor and coil. March performance billet air cleaner ($500) and coated headers. Ribbed corvette style aluminum valve covers painted body color. Professionally built chrome alternator with upgraded non-Chinese components. 700r 4 auto trans rebuilt with performance part upgrades and frame mount cooler ($3. 00). Dual 11" spall fans with aluminum radiator and polished overflow tank. Custom built 9" posi-traction differential with 4 wheel power discs. braided stainless flex lines. Strange axels. Timkin bearings . ldon billet adjustable coilovers. nbsp;new drive shaft and yolks. ladder bars with poly bushings ($4000)KYB Gas Adjust front shocksNew stock style dual exhaust-I removed flowmasters as they were too loud Dakota analog/digital gauges with silver faces and full time lighted blue numbers. low fuel indicator and programmable message center. American Auto Wire harness and fuse block. Auxiliary volt meter for a remote second battery set up. dome and back up lights. flashers and license lights. Kenwood ddx719 7"x4" touch screen. adjustable angle. CD with blue tooth. sirrius xm. pandora etc. I pod. I phone cable jack. back up/rear view camera(excellent resolution)JBL speakers (4) speakers have base/clear body color painted covers. Audiovox Platinum alarm model aps596c 5 button programmable remote w/ dual shock sensor. engine immobilizer and upgradable. Sensors on doors. hood and rear hatch. Quartz conversion clock. factory type tint windows. BMW leather M3 sport seats (Recarro) and retractable seat belts-known to BMW fans as VADER seats. If you pull the head rests up. you will understand. Good condition too!All chrome replaced except rear bumper center section and one guard-minor scuffs. scratches but an easy re chrome job. Chrome bolts under hood and stainless hood supports. Classic Auto Air/ Heat works great. Billet/ Leather steering wheel. aftermarket (Ididit. laming river??)tilt column. Staggered Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 raised letter radials with approx. 2. 00 miles on them. 8" front/ 10" rear. Carpeted rear deck with locking front storage doors and rear drawer/ storage access. This deck structure is secured with sheet metal screws and brackets- not welded to floor. This extremely low mileage restomod runs and stops well. I believe the car originated in Texas and is not a bondo bucket. I have won numerous local show awards (8) and that was with my business graphics which many judges don't like. This car has a few minor issues which I want to point out as I have gotten burned before due to seller dishonesty. The steering box is seeping fluid and needs a new seal. The paint looks really nice and glossy with good depth. Now that the paint has settled I can see a couple of areas where the prep was not as good as the paint job. This is not very visible unless you are 1 foot away and are looking for it or have a trained eye like I do. There are 2- 1" vertical hairline cracks toward the bottom corners of the rear hatch-I tried to take a close up but could not get them to photograph. After this car was painted it was cut and buffed very well. As an appearance specialist I am well versed in seeing horrible repaints and poor prep work so I feel I am a good judge and can answer specific questions. serious. qualified buyers only.
