1967 Nickey Corvette Coupe 427/400HP 4 Speed

You are bidding on an NCRS verified 1967 Nickey Big Block Corvette Coupe.

This is an original big block car that a previous owner began a body off restoration on about 10 years ago. It has a 427/400HP Corvette engine with a 4 speed and 3:70 positraction rear end. The original color is Marlboro Maroon with black vinyl interior.

Based on the NCRS shipping data report the official production date was November 1, 1966 and delivering dealer was the iconic Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago, IL.

This is a nicely optioned Corvette with:

L68 427/400 hp engine4 speed manual transmission3:70 positraction rear axlePower brakesTelescopic steering columnHeadrestsSide mounted exhaust (added)Tinted windowsAM/FM radio

The engine is a professionally rebuilt Corvette engine with only 500 miles driven, and it runs and sounds fantastic. The engine pad stamping which can be seen in the pictures is TO915JC Vin#7102633, which makes this engine only 83 numbers before the original Vin of 7102719. That means it can qualify as acceptable for NCRS judging. The cast date is H246.

The chassis and suspension are completed. The frame is solid and straight and could just use some additional cleaning. The spare tire carrier and spare tire are included.

The body is finished in primer, any necessary repairs have been completed and it is ready for painting. The original Marlboro maroon paint can still be seen in the door jams.

The black vinyl interior has been completed. The seats and headrests were recovered and new carpet installed. The seat belts were also replaced. The original door panels are in good condition and the original dash cluster shows normal fading.

We have posted many pictures of this car and encourage you to look at them and call us with any questions, or see it in our Burr Ridge, IL showroom. This car is listed for sale on our website with an asking price of $74,990.

This Corvette is almost completed and just needs a paint job. When you are completed what’s a restored highly optioned 1967 427/400 coupe worth ???? Don’t let this bargain get away!!!!!

A $169 doc fee and if applicable state sales tax will be added to the final bid price. The purchaser is also responsible for freight if shipped.
