Description:

1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Up for bids is this 1953 Chevrolet station wagon.Car has a 235 cubic inch engine and a powerglide transmission. All of the gauges seem to work.Car does not overheat and holds about 40 lbs. of oil pressure .The car is completely unmolested and fairly rare with the 235 and the original 2 speed powerglide automatic trans as an option in 1953.Car runs good.Transmission shifts like it should but does have a small leak. The breaks are good and stop the car straight. All the lights are working as well as the turn signals. There is some rust in the front floorboards as you can see in the pics. The rear floorboards are pretty good. The rear seat does lay down flat. There is no rust in the spare tire compartment.nice clean and dry. There are a few pieces of cracked flat glass.(drivers window, tailgate window and maybe passenger rear).Obviously the car has bumps, bruises scratches and a few rust spots all over but for a 63 year old survivor it`s not to bad.the rear bumper is bent as well as the rear bumper filler.this is the only real bend on the car.the only modification i see is the horn button on the dash.I expect a non refundable deposit of $200.00 within 2 days of auctions end.Payment in full within 7 days.Car may be stored up to 4 weeks .after that $10.00 a day unless other arrangements have been made prior to auctions end.If your feedback is less than 5 contact me or your bid will be cancelled.I am very easy to get along with as long as we all play by the rules. The car is located in N.W. Ks. Hoxie Ks. 67740. 6 hours west of KC and 4 hours east of Denver. You can call or email if you have any ?`s 1-785-675-1197 Thanks Ron
