Description:

1967 Chevrolet Camaro

Untitled Document

I have a nicely restored 1967 Chevy Camaro SS/RS for sale. This has what is believed to be just north of 50,000 original miles. This is a factory SS/RS, AC car with a Powerglide transmission and 12 bolt rear end. This is a numbers matching car and sports its original engine, original transmission, and rear end which are still in the car and working as if they were new. Factory RPO code 124377 which translates to: 1967 Chevy Camaro Coupe; 8-cylinder (350) engine. One of only 142,242 V-8 coupes that left the factory in 1967. What makes this car special however is the factory SS/RS options. The L48 option was the Super Sport (SS) 350cid, 295hp, 4bbl, V-8 engine. Only 29,270 of the total production for that year had this option. Additionally, this car has the Z22 (Rally Sport) option. The Rally Sport or RS option package includes the full width grill with concealed headlights, bright lower body side moldings, RS grille emblem (or SS when options combined), parking/turn signal lights located below front bumper, and reverse lights located below bumper in rear. The combined SS with RS options on this car make it a highly desirable car. Even better this is a KK paint car (EmeraldTurquoise). Only 3.4% of ALL Camaros that left the factory that year, V-6 and V-8 included, had this color. Combine the paint with the matching deluxeturquoiseinterior and SS/RS options and you have for a rare configured car for 1967.
Car's trim tag decodes as follows:

The only non-standard additions to this car are the front and rear spoiler which weren't available until 1968 and the rally wheels and BF Goodwrench tires. The car in its original form had hub caps, no spoiler, and a black pin stripe down the sides of the car. The car has its original carb, radiator, engine support strap, and more. A have a stack of paperwork which details the owner history of the car including all service records. Also have the original brochure, manual, and protect-o-plate for the car. I also have the original bill of sale from H&H Chevrolet to a Vivian O'Brien when she bought the car in Omaha, Nebraska in 1967. I have the original H&H Chevrolet key chain and a ton more that will accompany the vehicle.
Asking $40,000 OBO for the car which is well below Hagerty's estimate for this car in this condition with these option. It's about $10,000 less than what I have it insured for. Serious inquiries only please.
