1936 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Your bidding on a titled 1936 chevrolet truck. There's 1000s of different ratrod's on ebay this is the only one has the 4bt cummins! It was built from the ground up using some of the 1936 frame i had to reinforce it for the 4bt. The body and grill were sectioned 7" the doors and cab were reinforced with 1" square tubing throught. The doors are suicide with bear claw latches. The gauges are autometer pro-comp ultra-lite gauges boostvoltsoilwater mounted above the windshield. The front axle is a 48 chevy truck beam new shoes and drums converted to 5x4 3/4 pattern. It rides on t-bucket suicide spring setup from speedway. The steering is a reversed f-100 box mounted behind the dash cowl steer. The headlights are off a 1937 chevy sedan and are 12v. The box is a 50 chevy truck bobbed to fit the truck wheelbase. The dash is made out of a old chevy truck tailgate. The 4bt is out of a chevy bread truck it is a 1990 the motor has around 30k it is mated to a gm turbo 475 transmission just the adapter is over $1200. The shifter is a 32 double bend from lokar. I used the hydroboost and master cylinder from the bread truck for the power brake assist. The radiator is a speedway i had to turn it sideways to fit in the grill shell and relocate the cap on top also has a electric cooling fan on thermostatic switch to turn on and off. The rear axle is a 1970 8.5 camaro axle 3.08 ratio with a spool for better traction. For the rear suspension it has a 2 link with jaguar coilovers. The gas tank is a 50 chevy truck sectioned to fit in the frame rails and is a tilt bed to fill the tank. Front tires are 15" silvertown's rear is hurst racing 15" drag radials. The motor runs like a clock it has been turned up just a little bit smokes black on full throttle. The truck drives exceptionally good just loud with the diesel motor i was going to flip the exhaust manifold so the turbos on top and the pipe would be straight up (less noisey)I took it on a road trip to omaha last year (about 300 miles round trip) on I-80 running 75-80 never had a issue plus it only used about 10 gallons of diesel.
