Original Barn Yard Find! 1979 Monte Carlo For Sale. Runs, shifts, driveswell. Needs one front brake line.

I am selling my 1979 Monte Carlo. I am the third owner of this car. I purchased it from my neighbor who purchased it from his mother, the original owner.I have the original paperwork, including the bill of sale ($7,300.00 CAD brand new.)

Equipped with the 267 V8 (4.4L) and 3 speed automatic transmission.Some surface rust, no holes. Largest rust issue on drivers door (see photo) just above door trim and passenger side of the hood (see photo.)Pretty clean interior, only damage is drivers headrest and normal cracks in the dash (see photo.) Not equipped with air conditioning (never was), manual window cranks and tilt steering.Missing the sun visors and passenger B pillar trim was shattered when I purchased the car. Both rear frame rails are pretty rusty, will have to be replaced. I've seen a lot of ads on EBay to purchase replacement rear frame rails at a decent price.

Equipped with mid '80's Monte Carlo aluminum wheels and older Chevrolet center caps.

I bought the car because I owned a very similar car when I was 18 and wanted to save it from the scrap yard. However, I have too many other projects on the go and I need the space. Wanting it to go to a loving home.
