Description:

1974 Chevrolet Nova

This is a 1974 Chevy Nova that has been professionally modified to have the appearance of the more desirable 1972 model. The body looks great and has no visible rust. It`s not wavy looking down the sides. There are no obvious signs of bodywork but I can`t honestly say if it has much body filler or not. It doesn`t appear to really have any body filler but you know it has some somewhere for the body to look this straight. The lower quarter panels have been replaced and a small area of the trunk floor has been patched. The paint is a few years old but still looks great. It is not an award-winning paint job but it is far better than a Maaco paint job. Maybe a couple small chips and a little scratch here or there but overall a good looking paint job. You will get plenty of compliments at cruise night. The interior is black and looks good overall. The carpet has been recently replaced. The 350 engine has a small cam, headers, Q-Jet carb and Edelbrock Performer intake. The Turbo 350 trans has a 2500 rpm stall converter. The 10 bolt rear-end has factory (highway) gears. Factory options include - power steering and power disc brakes. It is not equipped with an air conditioner. All of the gauges work, except the speedometer (I don`t think it is connected). The heater, wipers, headlights and taillights do work. The horn doesn`t work (simple fix). The 1972 style front turn signals are missing from the front bumper (easily found on Ebay and elsewhere). The tires are in good condition. The engine runs well, transmission shifts fine and the brakes work properly. This is not a hot rod but does sound tough. It drives as you`d expect of an old car. I do not know of any major repairs that are needed. I have described this car the best I can. I recommend and invite you to come view the car in person or have an inspector / appraiser come and look it over.
