1969 Chevrolet Camaro

This is a listing for my 1969 Camaro. This was a V8 car. As you can see by the pictures it needs to be finished but all the metal work and painting is done. The car had the usual rust places in the floors and at the bottom of the quarters etc. This car was completely disassembled, put on rotisserie glass bead blasted. With the parts available for these cars I wanted to build it right!!! There are NO patches anywhere on this car and that means very little filler (bondo) The floor pan had a rust hole on the driver’s and passenger side so I put a complete new floor pan and seat pans. Quarters could have been patched but replaced them as well… the following are all new body parts, Goodmark and Auto Metal Direct used.

NEW.. 2” Cowl Hood, header panel, lower valance, fenders, inner fenders, 1 new door shell, and 1 door skin, door handles and latches, trunk lid, deck panel, this car had a vinyl top on it and it was thin around the edges so the roof skin was replaced as well, installed dyno mat.

After car was stripped and metal work done the entire car was coated with etching epoxy primmer, Fusor seam fill, and then 2k primer. The car is painted with PPG - BDC base color code 72 Hugger Orange and PPG 2021 Clear. Car has been cut and buffed to perfection.

The sub frame and rear was completely stripped/blasted, primed and painted to a gloss finish also by PPG paints, All new body bushings, new tie rods, upper and lower A arm rebuilt bushings and new ball joint, front and rear has been upgradedwith new Bel Tech Sway bars, new shocks, 4 wheel disc brakes by Scorpion Products

As you can see I closed in the firewall to run new style a/c unit. The car has been dropped 2”, I have all the parts to raise back to stock if wanted. As for the wheels I wasn’t going to run them but used them to make the car rolling,, they have some age on them.

The car came pretty much complete interior which goes with car, I will try to get pictures,, bucket seats w/ head rest and back seat… needs recovering, dash cluster, duct/air vents/ window glass w/ regulators, bumper w/ brackets, heater cluster, some chrome, factory wiring harness

As you can see by the pictures the car was done right and will make someone a nice show car when finished. I have the car listed locally and auction may end early. I have hundreds of pictures documenting this build if there is anything else you would like to see,,, If you have any questions please email or call me at 252-714-4943Ronnie
