This rare 396/425 hp, 4 speed, 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible has had a complete frame-off restoration.It is amatching numbers car. The casting number on the block is 962. The car has all original sheet metal, original glass, new chrome and rebuilt drive train. The car is equipped with factory options including power steering, power brakes, wood steering wheel, tilt steering, disc brakes, power top, bucket seats with console, am/fm radio and 6500 red line tach.
This has always been an Alabama car. Purchased new in Dothan, Alabama, at Solomon Chevrolet. All numbers, including cast numbers, match.
This being a super rare car, only 1800 '65 Impala SS built with the 396/425hp and approximately 18 of them were convertibles.I am selling this car from my private collection. According to Hagerty's price guide the value of this car is $117,700.00
