Up for sale we have a 1965 Chevy C10 Long Bed. This truck has had a complete resto done. It was built with the intention of having a killer looking truck with all the driver amenities. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the C10. This truck was stripped down and the metal work was done before block and sanding to give it an arrow straight body. The panels were fitted to ensure a good fit before the Purple Paint was applied. The same eye for detail was done to the bed. After the Purple Paint they added ghost flames and then covered it in many coats of clear. When everything was put together they installed new weather stripping along with new seals around the glass. The side and back glass has a light tint with the windshield being clear. New bumpers were installed along with the grill and other trim. IN the bed new wood and new stainless strips were put in. The wheels are 17" Intros.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Truck. On the inside it's done in leather and tweed. The seats and door panels are leather with tweed inserts. The seats and carpet are done in Maroon with the Headliner and lower door panels being a light gray. When you look at the dash its painted body color. The gauges were changed to Pro Comp and a tilt column was added along with a Billet Wheel. Also this truck has Vintage AC and an AM FM Radio by Jansen.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a 383 that's dressed with a Polished Aluminum Intake and Valve Covers. Also it has an Aluminum Water Pump and Brackets. The breather is chrome, and to keep it cool on hot summer days it's fitted with an Aluminum Radiator. The engine is mated to a 4 Speed and 12 Bolt Rear End. This C10 has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. You will like what you see when you look under it with the cab and floors being solid and in great shape.
