1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport

REAL DEAL. 2-Owner, All North Texas 1964 Chevy Impala Super Sport 283 4BBl, Factory Tuxedo Black on Black. This isa Numbers Matchingoriginal paint and interior, even down to the original 4BBL Quadra Jet Carburetor. Factory 283 V8, Automatic, Power Steering, Factory AC Super Sport. The second owner (Mrs. Barnett) purchased this car in June of 1969 from Hudiburg Chevrolet in Fort Worth, TX for $1495.00, the carcomes with that Texas 1969title and with the Tax receipt from thatpurchase. This car has been stored in a barn style garage sincelate 80shere in North Texas. We installed 4 brand new tires, changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, rebuilt the original carburator, added fresh fuel and got her running. We did a minor flush on the brakes. We basicly wanted to make sureshe was a running car that would start and drive on and off a trailer for her new owner. We have inspected this car and found only two areas of rust; the major spot in the lowest part of the trunk as you can see in the picture, lower trunk floor pan will need replaced. The second spot is very minor and on the passenger rear quarter behind the wheel, you can see this in the picture. The worst part of the interior, is obviously the dash pad...dried up and needs replaced. The engine is still running on some of the old gas with the new gas added, does have a passenger side exhaust leak, the AC compressor turns but the belt not attached. Power steering works, transmission seems to work but have not driven at HWY speeds obviously and the motor is all original and Im sure will need a rebuild. This is obviously a complete project; but how many 1964 Impala Super SportsBlack on Black all original numbers matching cars are left and this car is all there except for 1 missing headlight ring. All the panels are original and lines are great. Has a dent in the rear and one on the rear quarter panel. trunk has the interior trim from what looks like a headliner replacment attempt years ago.
