1977 Chevrolet CorvetteSelling my 1977 Corvette that I had been restoring for the last year or so. Recently, have turned my focus to another car and have little interest in finishing this one. I will try to be as descriptive as possible but feel free to ask any questions you may have.
First, 'll start with the exterior. The stock rear bumper was replaced for a brand new custom 1980 rear bumper made to fit a 1977. The car was also sanded down, rimered and repainted black within the last three months. I would rate the paint about 8/10. Fortunately, he paint is still under warranty so any imperfections can be fixed for free. I have just not had the time. The car is currently running on 15 inch Torque Thrust chrome wheels with basically brand new tires but I have a set of brand new 17x8.5 Black C6 Z06 wheels just waiting to be put on. To fit those Z06 wheels the car will need adapters which I also have to go with the car.
Now for the interior! Right now the interior is completely stripped out. I have a brand new complete set of black carpets, rand new high quality black leather seat covers, ew black leather wrapped steering wheel, ew seat belts and newly wrapped dash pad. Pretty much everything you need for a brand new interior. The car currently has an 80s Grundig stereo which actually sounds pretty good all things considered. The car is an original A/C car. It has manual windows and the headlight vaccum is unplugged so they WILL NOT go up or down right not. But you can also manually move the headlights. Everything electrical works inside the car but I would HIGHLY, IGHLY recommend a new dash wiring harness, hich I don't have and will run you about $550 new. I've also added pictures of just about everything besides the steering wheel and carpets.
Lastly, or the mechanical. Its an L82 small block 350. The motor was completely gone through and rebuilt about ~9000 miles ago, t runs like a dream. The car is cammed and running an Edelbrock RPM Performer Intake manifold with an upgraded Holley carb. The car also has Hooker longtube headers with a full custom exhaust system. It sounds pretty awesome in my opinion. The car is also a four speed and has a racing spec. transmission complete with a Hurst shifter. When I purchased the car I was told is was also geared, ut I never checked myself, o I can't swear to it. The car definitely has quiet a bit of extra giddy up and is a lot of fun to drive and you will basically have a brand new Corvette once put together with the pieces I am including! It could easily be a daily driver. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
Just to be clear, verything mentioned goes with the car. I will also assist the buyer with shipping if necessary.
Here is a short clip of the car after the motor was rebuilt. Its a quick start and rev just so you can hear the great sounding motor. And yes, he loose belt was tightened shortly and no longer squeaks. youtube.com/watch?v=h8Pi9AbQ_OU
