Description:

1936 Chevrolet Other Pickups 1/2 TON

This is my Old School Classic 1936 1/2 ton Pick Up Street Rod that has been Garage kept for years. This gorgeous 1936 Chevy truck is custom street rod through and through and is in beautiful condition. The exterior of this 1936 Chevy truck body is original steel and having the bed shortened and lowered some (I think wood side rails would look really great) with a handsome wood bed and stainless steel gas tank installed in bed. It is finished in beautiful yellow base coat, lear coat process and I have extra paint for touch ups. It has a paint job that is very smooth and shiny with normal street wear and paint crazing/blemishes here and there but overall looks pretty darn good and I get compliments everywhere I go with it. People are always taking pictures of it and waving when they see me coming down the road or in a parking lot. Under the hood you will find a rebuilt 1967 327 Chevrolet V8 engine hooked to a 350 automatic transmission and putting power to the ground is a vintage Chevrolet quick change rear end with 3:73 gear ratio. This 36 Chevy truck has a Mustang II front end to my knowledge, ack and pinion steering and power (a little touchy till you get familiar) brakes but no power steering and drives straight and true with a tight front end. The tires and wheels are perfect with hardly any wear. The underneath of the truck is rust free and clean as can be with no oil or grease or dirt showing. The like new interior of the truck is fitted with beautiful racing ProCar by Scot bucket seats, alnut dash and console, arpet and mats, ilt steering wheel, tereo radio with cd player (not working fully right now) and some extra accessory center console switches that have not been hooked up to anything at this time. Door panels and headliner are fine, ind up windows and flip up cowl ventilator work. These 1936 Chevy trucks have somewhat small cabs inside and I would suggest the main driver be under 6'1" to feel really comfortable. Most gauges, iper motor and lights are working but I need a wiper blade as I don't drive it in the rain. It maintains great oil pressure and temperature at all times, lways starts right up and purrs and rumbles with a nice exhaust system (not too loud) and mild cam that sounds great, nd the engine does not smoke at all at any time even when just starting it. The rear tailgate has walnut wood with a handmade custom CHEVROLET inlay (every letter inlaid) over the steel gate. The 327 Chevy motor has many speed components and with its 10 to 1 compression and 3/4 cam it moves this little truck down the road quite nicely (will lay rubber in a heart beat if you want to) and powerfully. It was a built by a man who owned it for 26 years in Michigan and is titled as a 1974 ASVE (assembled vehicle) Truck serial # MICH74535 and again is titled, insured and tagged in Maryland in my name free and clear of any liens, peedometer states 14999 but actual mileage is unknown of course. Offered AS IS Where is, ith No Warranty Expressed or Implied. Buyer to arrange pick up of the truck from my home in Glen Arm, d. 21057 and I will assist as best as I can for you.
