1957 Chevrolet OtherChevrolet, 7 150 Sedan Delivery Due to health problems I have to sell this 57 delivery. I bought this car several years ago as a body from a guy who had already lifted it off the frame, ebuilt the frame, ainted it black, et body back on frame then did the body work. Quarter panels have bondo in them and around the rear hatch still needs some body work. I have lots of new parts, ome on the car, ome still in boxes. Built 396 with race ready turbo 400. 373 Camaro posi 12 bolt rear end. Engine ‘69 396 2 bolt main bored .030 TRW 30 over forged pistons Crank shaft, 223, 0/20 under cross drilled Rods resized and new rod bolts Balanced 215 Heads, eworked New Weiand Stealth Intake manifold 750 CFM Holley, ew HEI Distributor Vintage Cal Custom unique valve covers Brand new oval air cleaner with Bow Tie top nut New Bow Tie T Handles New Oil Pump, illing 77 Eckler’s high dollar ½ cut oil pan & pickup tube Rebuilt water pump Billett Aluminum pulleys New Aluminum radiator New 17” Flexible Fan Transmission Turbo 400, hort shaft, ebuilt with trans king, everse manual valve body and tranny brake. New Parts, ot on car. Gas tank, n box, long with new 3/8ths sending unit in box. Bought these because previous owner told me gas tank had been flushed and inside coated and ready to go. When I filled tank it leaked somewhere from top, o needs to be changed out. Inner/Outer Fenders, ew inner fenders still in box, ew outer fenders with no holes. Door Glass, ew door and vent glass, ray tint.
Lift Gate Gas Struts, ew in package, on’t have them applied because screws were broke off, I have them all removed from the lift gate, ut not from the body.Door mirrors in box. Shifter cover in box. GM compass in package. Third brake light, hrome plated, n package.
Electric fan is new along with thermostat and wiring kit. The fan that is on the car is only 17 inch. The car runs at about 205 degrees when warmed up, o I bought other fan to help cool it in summertime.
Carpet, ew in box.
Bolt on Lakewood traction masters, ew in box.
Bow Tie floor mats in car.
Bow Tie Valve stem caps.
The tachometer is also brand new AutoMeter with Chevy Bow Tie, hey were installed during the summer. The holes in the dash for the tach was already drilled out when I bought car. Dash also has another holed drilled on the other side of dash cluster.
The doors on this car are kind of a mystery to me. They were originally 210 doors and the beltline holes have been filled in. Inside inspection cover plates have never been drilled out. Outside moulding holes have never been drilled either.
Have 3 used 57 wheels. Four 58 wheels, on car.
Back wheels are later model Chevrolet. The Bow Tie hub caps that you see on car are S10 NOS. We painted the Bow Tie red because we were going with a Bow Tie theme on the car.
I think I have all the interior moulding for this car.
Front bumper brackets, ost are straight, ut the centers are bent. Bought a new NOS bracket so I would have a guide to straighten these.
The heater for this car is the cheap heater, hich will need restored. The Delux heater control that you see in the pictures was to be used with A/C and heater, ut I never got that far.
This delivery came with split front seat and a station wagon back seat.
NOS Fuse block, lready installed.Car is cold natured, ut once it gets warmed up, atch out. This car was going to be my daily driver with occasional weekends at the midnight drags. Has not got there
Tag is current, itle is up to date.
I can no longer drive, herefore the wife cannot justify keeping this car.
Not interested in any trades.

The motor mounts I purchased from a manufacturer in California. The mount towers weld to each side of the front cross member and utilizes the high performance motor mounts you can get from Chevrolet. The rear cross member came from a later model Impala, think, nd I set it up to be a bolt in cross member. This setup up mounts the engine the way it should be mounted and makes for a neat setup.
Somehow we overlooked the new fenders and inner fenders in the box, ot installed yet, ut they go with the car.
Car also needs starter solenoid because it will not hit on the starter. It will start for 3 or 4 days, hen when you go to start it, t will not hit. Let it set for 3 or 4 hours, hen it will start. I have a new one in the box, ot installed yet.
If car does not sell, nd I keep it over the winter I will install the solenoid and fenders. If you would rather install these parts yourself instead of me, ust hit the Buy It Now button.
