Description:

1962 Chevrolet Suburban

You are bidding on my 1962 Chevy Suburban Bread Delivery Truck...
This is a three owner (Including myself) Family owned in San Clemente CA until I purchased it semi restored SUV.
The Vehicle has a fresh 350 carborated engine installed under two years ago and a turbo 400 3 speed transmission
Almost all of the rest of the vehicle is un-tampered with. The roof and sides have vintage vents added in the 1960's to release the heat of the Bread and Baked goods this truck would deliver. The rear interior deck is wood with metal separators all in good shape. Rear window has a brake light installed on commercial delivery vehicles in the 1980's. The seatbelts have been converted from lap belts to 3 point chevy seat belts for safety and a stereo CD player added but inoperable at the moment.
New on the vehicle since I have had it are radial tires as opposed to Bias ply and a new battery to fire up the new engine.
This vehicle sports the all popular flat grey primer look and patina (rust... everyone is calling it Patina, ut we all know its rust).there is rust in areas of the door panels and roof section and I am sure if you look hard enough like on any old vehicles it is elsewhere. However, t was not too bad to install a new engine and have a cool pre smog CA cruiser that turns heads everywhere it goes.
I have a clear title and just registered it in CA
No quirks, o hidden stories, o "buy the ways"! If you are looking for a cool vehicle for your company billboard, vintage camping mobile, great jump off point to a SUV hot Rod, r if you lost your virginity in one of these and now your in a midlife crises, ts ready to drive away! (Or I can assist with loading on a shipper). I recently drove this vehicle up and over California's HWY 74 Ortega HWY being a great test for any vehicle, he simply puuurs...
Now for my "Ive been burned on ebay before terms". Please note before bidding. I am paying to post this on ebay because I would like to sell it. If you ask me a question I will answer it as accurately as I can, ood or Bad. once the bidding starts its off to the races. I will not pump up the bid and hope for more money, am listing at no reserve and that means someone is going to win and be an owner. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours because you are now the new owner you lucky devil so start acting like it! Balance must be paid 48 hours after auction ends. IF you win and send me the first $500 and fail to pay the balance I WILL spend your money on Booze and Gambling (should I win I will not share 1/2 of my winnings) I will however send you a picture of how much I enjoyed your deposit upon request. Why would I do such a thing? because I paid ebay to sell a vehicle through auction, ot hold an unprepared persons money until they come up with the rest. So... before bidding, lease get permission from your wife, our husband, our lover, our mistress, our priest or rabbi, od himself, our kids, our talking parrot and your mechanic. If you want to see the Suburban come on by... sit and have lunch in it (Its a bread truck after all). But please respect that a bid is a bid.
THat being said.... Happy Bidding and good luck, look forward to handing the keys off to the next happy owner!
