For those not familiar with the LaSalle automobile, t is essentially the "Little Brother" to the GMs flagship line, adillac. The line was named after the French explorer that opened up the Upper Mississippi Valley to Europeans. This particular example was in a collection of 30s and 40s sedans and coupes and had been in storage for several years when we traded for it. It didn't take a lot to make it roadworthy, resh fuel, o through the brakes suspension and electricals, rive it to allow us to determine what it needed to make a safe and usable car, hen a little elbow grease to clean it up. After that, oila, solid, lean, nd smooth running and driving example of a pre-war sedan that is ready to give its new owner years of driving pleasure in a seldom seen package today.
