1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible

This is the cool convertible that can carry all your friends or family in style. The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado was the end of a legend and this one has been taken care of like a shrine to the big classic American drop top. 1976 shut the door on the traditional American convertible that was big roomy and floated over the road in complete comfort. That legacy is why a Caddy like this that's approaching its 40th birthday is still in such superior condition. The lower fenders on these classics are notorious for falling victim to unseen curbs but this one still has all the straight lines and firm creases that it was given at the Detroit factory. Take a look at the plastic panels that fill the area between the metal body and the front and rear marker lights. These wouldn't have survived nearly four decades without a loving caretaker. But the best part has to be the color. Most of the '76 convertibles were the white on white special edition which are great cars but we already see plenty of them. The sparkling broze paint and tan cloth top offer a distinctive look that grabs attention at car shows and also looks contemporary enough to fit in during a night on the town. Just like the tan folding roof the leather seats have a cool modern khaki look. The extra wide benches have seatbelts for six people but not even the driver's seat shows any real wear. The interior has the kind of luxury that made these Cadillacs so special when new and exceptionally desirable today. These are the features that you would even want on a brand new car such as power windows power locks power seats cruise control tilt steering wheel power convertible top and air conditioning. The three-spoke wheel still feels soft to the touch and all of the controls have a cool classic look and feel but best of all every feature functions perfectly. A Cadillac is a cool cruiser and there's a lot going on beneath the metal. Just as this was promoted as the last American convertible 1976 was the last year for the monstrous 500 cubic-inch V8 motor. Emissions regulations of that era had taken out some of the horsepower but this Caddy has no trouble moving because it still makes about as much torque as a modern V8 Chevy truck! The cruising attitude is heightened by a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission power steering and power brakes with discs at all four corners – the first and only year for this feature on Eldorado convertibles. The suspension in this car must be experienced. You would think Cadillacs from this era are referred to as boats because of their size but after you drive it you'll swear it's because how it floats down the road. This legend is big on space big on torque and big on luxury

This is an opportunity to amaze your friends at local cruise night events. You must see and drive to fully appreciate the investment that has been made in this car. It will certainly please the most discriminating buyer looking for ashow quality car. These quality collector cars have been increasing in value astronomically over the last decade, ere is your chance to purchase a piece of history for you to drive and enjoy for years to come.
