1976 Cadillac Eldorado --

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Only 32,485 Miles Three Owners From New Original Paint SURVIVOR - Claret Metallic 8.2L 500ci V8 / Turbo Hydramatic Automatic VIN: 6L67S6Q117684 6: Cadillac L: Eldorado 67: 2dr Convertible S: 500ci V8 Q: Detroit, MI Assembly Plant 117684: Unit Number Paint: Claret Metallic, Orange Pinstripe Trim: Light Buckskin Leather Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. Blemishes are all shown close-up and under direct sunlight. Blemishes are limited to a few small dings, a scratch down at the very... bottom of the passenger fender (forward of front wheel), and some minor chips scattered about the lower front end. Condition is excellent overall, and very much consistent with a 32k-mile car that has been responsibly owned since new. - Original Claret Metallic paint looks fantastic. We put a paint gauge on the car and found readings of 2.5-3.0, which would indicate original paint. Truly extremely well preserved. The orange pinstripe offsets the burgundy metallic color beautifully. - Wheels are in great shape, with no damage or curb rash. Yokohama tires were new in 2004, yet remain in excellent condition. No dryness, negligible wear. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Filler panels are starting to crack up. There are close-ups in the video, but the rears are worse off than the fronts. - Powered convertible top is functional and is free of any damage or significant signs of age. Car will also come with a matching light buckskin soft boot cover and body-colored hard boot cover. - Panel fitment is spot on, doors/hood/trunk all open and close nice and smooth. Trunk has the soft-close feature. Interior: - Original interior is in great shape. Really the only legitimate signs of age or wear is a little bit of looseness of the leather on the driver's seat bottom. Extremely minor. Even the outer bolsters look good! - Heat/fan/defrost is functional. R12 air conditioning is functional. Radio and power antennae are functional. All lights and signals are functional. Power windows and seats are functional as well. Analog dash clock is not functional. - Original carpeting is in nice shape, and the car will come with both a front and rear mat. - Rear seats are mint. Seatbelts are a little tired-looking, but seats themselves are excellent. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Original engine, the S-code 500ci V8. Extremely smooth and dead silent, like a Cadillac should be. No exhaust leaks or anything like that. Truly no tendencies of concern, a very well-sorted car. The car doesn't hesitate under acceleration, it shifts as smooth as could be, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. This car has always been serviced at the same place for the last twenty years, Heritage Cadillac of Lombard, IL. Service receipts include a number of oil changes, an air conditioning service, rear brake caliper replacement, tires, and the replacement of cracked vacuum hoses which had caused a rough idle. Car is in need of nothing at the moment and we wouldn't hesitate to fly in and drive home regardless of distance. - Underbody looks quite good. Please take a look through the photos. Frame is nice and solid. Very much structurally sound. No through rust or damage underneath the car. This car is staggeringly dry and rust-free considering it's a Cadillac from the Midwest. No evidence of any prior metal work, and the car does look to have been undercoated at some point.
