Great original convertible! She's a big girl and a beautiful example. All Original! Head turner to say the least! Can't go anywhere without big smiles and lots of conversations.
Original owner spent big bucks in 1970 purchasing the extra options.Signal seeking am/fm radio with foot controlTrumpet hornCruise controlTwilight sentinelAutomatic Climate ControlTilt and telescope steering wheelRemote control trunk lock with warning lightPower front seatsMay have missed some other options.
I have cared and done some minor restoration but she came to me in great condition. The engine compartment looks like new. Valve covers need cleaning and painting. Not a showroom car but she is stunning. Look at all the pictures please before bidding. The undercarriage is in great condition. She has solid bones.
Original seats and carpet. All original chrome. Had some of the original parts re-chromed. Wear in the front seat(pictured) but I wanted to keep her original.Beautiful Corinthian Blue paint Original color. Older repaint before I owned her. Minor blemishes, scratches in the paint. Some small bubbling(see pics) Not a perfect car but lots to love about her.Interior overall in excellent condition. Small cracks in the dash at the speaker openings. Drivers panel has cracks where elbow/arm rests.
She's almost 50!Runs good, drives/handles excellent, new brakes, tires.Sometimes runs rough haven't figured it out. Maybe timing off or carb adjustment.
She's my 4th kid but I have 3 human kids and I ran short of time to play with her. Interior lights are completely intact and original but don't come on I believe due to fuses. Mostly take her out during day so wasn't a priority.I'm sure needs some fuses replaced.Aftermarket radio zip tied to fuse panel. Have to cut zip ties to access panel but never messed with it. Glad they didn't put holes to bolt radio keeping everything original. With the aftermarket radio the original radio is not hooked up. As everything is in great condition assume could hook it up and it works but not a guarantee.She drips some oil and transmission fluid. Was fine with me I would just top off as needed. Just gaskets I guess but didn't get around to it.I restored the later model hubcaps personally like the look but I have the original hubcaps will include with purchase.Top is in amazing condition. Power top goes down and back up as expected. Parade boot looks great in the summer.Trunk is all original with the cardboard lining. Not perfect condition but its intact.Heater worked every winter. This winter I believe the flap is stuck. I'm sure easy fix but I don't take her out in the winter with snow, rain, salted roads so didn't look into it.I believe she was always garage kept and I have always had her in the garage.Air conditioning works fine rarely used.I love her but giving detailed description of her minor flaws so you can bid with confidence on this as is auction.If I missed anything ask and I will answer you then add on to the description.
