Original, no vinyl 1/4 roof. One of 70 built for the Hess-Eisenhardt conversion to a convertible, however the conversion kits became unavailable, were no longer manufactured, due to federal regulations.
This is a beautiful car that has lived a pampered life. Owner serviced, annually inspected, and serviced per PA vehicle inspection regulations.
The 425 cu.in. 8 cylinder engine has the power to command the road in. One of the last years Cadillac built a full-sized vehicle, and this one can use unleaded fuel!The ride - luxury, full sized vehicle that floats down the highway, and with the above mentioned power here is plenty of pedal left, to accelerate away.
Originally from Pennsylvania, it was always garage kept, and never driven in winter snow, slush, salt.
Currently in Florida, it has been 100% garage kept.The complete service record, and an original 1978 Cadillac Shop Manual are included.
So why buy it? If you visit Florida for the winter, no need to rent a luxury car. Just drive this beautiful car during your stay.

I have ridden in this car years ago, and other earlier Cadillacs, a '64, and '68 Sedan Deville, and the '78 Coupe Deville is the same Cadillac ride.
Flaws: Replacement rear fin fillers and the rear bumper filler need painted and professionally installed. Sale includes the correct replacement parts and a quart of acrylic lacquer color matched paint. The front fillers are still soft and pliable as the car was garaged front in. Translucent garage door allowed for premature ageing of the rear fillers. See photos.
