1942 Cadillac Series 61 --

Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the...right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This 1942 CADILLAC SERIES 61is located in a Copart facility in 11409 PENROSE STREET, SUN VALLEY, CA 91352. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear ILLINOIS Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1942 CADILLAC SERIES 61The Cadillac Series 61 replaced the Series 60/65 (except for the upscale Sixty Special) in Cadillac's 1939 model range. It in turn was replaced by the Series 62 in 1940 only to return to production in model year 1941. Apart from model years 1943-1945 It remained in production through 1951.1942-1947 After the War, the Series 61 returned on a 126 in (3,200 mm) wheelbase. The engine remained the same 346 in³ L-head V8 as before.Mechanical1942 Cadillac, Series 61 - originally sold to U.S. Army. I was told the car has 11K original miles. The engine is a V-8 346 cu. in. (w/ hyrdaulic lifters) and automatic transmission. This was one of the last cars produced off the assembly line before Cadillac shut down to produce parts for the World War 2 effort. Cadillac's total production for 1942 was less than 3,500 units. Out of which very few Club coups were assembled. The automatic transmission was new for Cadillac. Very a few 1942's had this option. The car is not running now due to sitting for years but engine turns and shouldn't take much to get it on the road.Exterior The exterior is presentable and it's a driver quality. The bumpers are very straight but the chrome is not perfect. All the glass is good and the car is very complete. The car was originally dark maroon from the factory but was soon repainted Army Green inside and out to serve in the war. Now the car has dark green exterior and looks great. This car plays an important and interesting part of Cadillac's history. InteriorThe interior is in great shape. The seats, headliner and door panels are very nice. The windows roll up and down smoothly. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS GREAT CLASSIC! Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase.
