Thank you for looking at our 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz classic survivor. We purchased this car from an estate where we don't think the car was driven for about 20 years. We took it to our mechanic and he went through all the gas lines, brakes, valve cover gaskets and tuned it up. He did everything it takes to make the car right after sitting for a long time, and boy does this car run nice today! Then we just spent another $1300 replacing all the plastic fillers between the body and the bumpers in the front and the back. They just fall apart after they get old. The underneath of the vehicle that you see in the pictures looks just about brand new. All the undercoating you see on the car was not put on by us, it was put on by the original owner probably 40 years ago.
The body on the car is exactly as you see it, very clean, very original, with a few brush touches due to some scratches in the garage. The original floor mats are in the trunk. The interior we believe to be in fantastic shape for its age, and of course that's all original as well. The motor compartment looks excellent, and the trunk is as solid as the day is long. And talking about solid, so is the rest of the car. That's why I took 250 pictures of it to show it off. So if you're looking for a turn key, really cool old Cadillac, this one may interest you very much.
I'd also like to mention that my mechanic put on the 4 tires but unfortunately they're not whitewall, and I didn't know that until all 4 were put on. We also took it back to the mechanic after we got back and had rear airshocks put on, and the nozzle, as shown in the pictures, by the gas filler is the valve. We have it adjusted level, but you can bring it up or down to your liking and riding comfort. If you have any interest about this car, it would be fantastic if you could stop by and see it, because its not often you get to buy an original 40 year old car like this one is.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
