Beautiful 1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible.A Southern car with a Cream White exterior fitted with Blue / Grey vinyland leather trim interior.Front and rear bench seat bottoms and drivers seat back have been reupholstered in matching vinyl years ago along with a new carpet set, original 1962 leather still covers front passenger seat back and front armrest as well as the rear seat back. Very nice dash top pad with Autronic headlight dimming eye.This Cadillac has been in the same owners collection for many years, having been stored inside and covered most all of its life.Has all the standard 62 fittings, power windows and power seat. No AC.All work as normal.Exterior was repainted in many years ago and still looks very nice, but has some light flaking chipping peeling on back edge of trunk and few other chipped areas, see pic.
The tires are old wide white wall bias ply, they hold air well and have nice tread butprobably not good for a cross country drive. Convertible is good and works as it should.Super nice solid body with just some very light corrosionspots on the chrome and bumpers, see the pics.Very nice under body chassis just normal very light surface rust of a 55 Year old Caddy.Has just recently been fitted with a NEW Water Pump, belts and hoses and Edelbrock carb. Runs and drives, brakes and shifts nicely.Original AM signal seeker radio. Has some various glass delamanation as is common on cars of this age, see pics.

A bit of Cadillac series 62 history
A mild face lift characterized Cadillac styling trends for 1962. A flatter grille with a thicker horizontal center bar and more delicate cross-hatched insert appeared. Ribbed chrome trim panel, seen ahead of the front wheel housings for 1961, were now replaced with standard cornering lampsand front fender model and series identification badges were eliminated from deville and 62. More massive front bumper end pieces appeared and housed rectangular parking lamps. At the rear tail lamps were now housed in verticalnacelles designed with an angled peak at the center. A vertically ribbed rear beauty panel appeared on the deck lid latch panel. Cadillac script also appeared on the lower left side of the radiator grille.
