1985 Cadillac Seville

Paint / Body:

This vehicle still has ALL ITS ORIGINAL PAINT. The paint color is called firemist blue. It is still holding up very well and looks great with a deep shine. If you know these cars, then you know that the plastic "Body Bumper Fillers" panels become brittle and start cracking. New bumper fillers were painted and installed and look great. The factory painted-on pinstripe is holding up very well. The body is extremely solid, straight and rust free. It still retains all of its original body panels. There are no signs of rust. The body panel fit and alignment looks great and are free ofany door dings, dents or scratches. All the doors close with ease. The weather stripping is in good condition. We believe this Seville was rust proofed when it was new from the black plug caps in the door jam areas. Remember to view all the photos.

Chrome / Trim:

All of the chrome and trim pieces are original and in excellent condition. It doesn't show any dulling, fading, or pitting. All the exterior trim pieces are presentand in good condition. The front grille, headlight bezels, taillight bezels, emblems and all of the stainless steel trim pieces are original.

Interior:

The "Dark Blue" leather interior, it is all original and in very good condition. It shows very little, if any wear. No rips, tears, or holes. The dark blue carpet is in good condition along with the original carpeted "Cadillac" logo floor mats. The dash pad (no cracks), headliner (not sagging), steering wheel(no cracks), door panels, arm rest(no wear) and all the other interior items are in great condition with no problems. The factory AM/FM/Cassette ETR radio works great. The interior chrome, knobs, handles, and other trim pieces are all beautiful. All of the electrical items are working correctly including the factory air conditioning which blows cold. There are no "Service Soon" or "Check Engine" lights illuminated. Theglove box area and ash trays even look new. The original owner's manual along with a few other original manuals are still in the glove box.

Engine Compartment:

The engine compartment is clean, but not detailed. This is the original 4.1 Liter V8 "DFI" Digital Fuel Injections engine that came with the car. With only 60,211original miles, It runs great with no known problems. It doesn't smoke or tick. The factory air conditioning (A/C) is working and blowing cold.

Trunk Compartment:

The trunk compartment is near perfect. The blue carpet shows no wear or stains. The original jack and jacking tools are present. The spare tire is in great shape and has the original carpet cover. There is also a factory Cadillac rubber mat that is in great shape.

Glass:

All of the original tinted glass is in near perfect condition. The windshield doesn't have any major chips, nicks, scratches, or wiper marks. All of the side powerwindows go up and down without any problems. The rear window has a defogger.

Wheels / Tires:

The steel rims and original optional wire wheel covers hubcaps are in great condition. No dents, curb scratches, or oxidation. All four tires are in great shape with plenty of thread. The car rides smooth with no vibrations and doesn't pull left or right.

Undercarriage:

I'm sure this low mileage vehicle spent a lot of time in the garage. No winter driving. The frame and underside is clean and rust free. (It was under coated when it was new.) There is some damp areas around the engine. This is pretty typical for vehicles that are not driven often. Seals/gaskets start to seep. It may or may notget better once the vehicle is driven a distance. The exhaust system is in good shape with no known leaks or problems. The car sits up well and doesn't lean or sag. Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why I took a few pictures of the bottom.
