Attention Custom Classic Car enthusiasts from around the world: Being offered up for auction is a rare opportunity to purchase a true piece of Automotive History from the heart of Detroit. This '63 Cadillac has been recently displayed at the World Renown Detroit "Autorama" car show which displays some of the most impressive custom cars from around the world. Always a crowd pleaser and show stopper, this Custom Cadillac is owned by one of the top automotive painter's/artists within the automotive restoration community. His reputation truly precedes himself. I am offering this Cadillac on behalf of my good friend that is the proud owner of this Classic one of kind 1963 Series 62 Cadillac Sedan.

There are over 200 hours worth of labor on the custom body and roof paint work. With the most recent custom roof paint work which was just completed for the most recent "Autorama" Car Show last month where the Cadillac was displayed as shown in some of the pictures. The paint work alone is valued at over $10,000.00

As noted, this is a Custom "Bagged" Cadillac which features a "Full Air Bag Suspension". Fitted with a "Viar" Air pump and features a 5 gallon air tank in the trunk. It is controlled with 2 valves for the front and 1 valve for the rear suspension.

Mechanically the Cadillac is in good solid condition. It starts easily with the turn of the key. Engine runs strong and the transmission works as it should. Has no overheating issues and pulls strongly. All lights in working condition. Has rebuilt driveshaft which includes new midshaft bearing and u joints. New "real" wide whitewall tires with less than 500 miles on them,

Body: The body is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. An original Oklahoma car with an extremely solid original body. Has shaved door handles. Near perfect paint with some minor chips. Showing no rust on the body. As previously noted, the custom Gold Metal Flake Paint work involved over 150 hours of labor to produce the impressive results of this custom Cadillac. Over 50 hours were spent last month to create the very impressive one of kind roof paint work that received numerous compliments and picture taking at the most recent Autorama Car Show. There is a minimal amount of filler on the body. Underneath the undercarriage is very solid - showing some minor rust on the floor board in the right rear section. Lower right side of the rear bumper end has the typical rust from the battery. All glass is in good condition. Known issues: Needs new exhaust manifold gaskets. Transmission seeps. Power steering does leak some. Trunk is very solid with no rust issues.

The interior is in original condition as shown in the pictures. The original seats are worn. Door panels are in good original condition. All gauges are in working condition with the exception of the gas gauge. Heat works however the motor is inop. Does need new door seals.

The Cadillac is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. I cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies that may have been inadvertently been provided.

The fine print: If you have 5 or less feedback transactions, you must contact me prior to bidding. A non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 is due within 24 hours of the auction end. If the deposit is not received, the "Cadillac" will be offered to the next highest bidder. The balance is due within 7 days of the auction end date. The car must be picked up within 10 days of the auction end date. A $10.00 per day storage fee will be charged after the 10 days unless prior arrangements have been made. For International Buyers, I have sold many vintage cars to overseas buyers with the buyers being extremely pleased with the sale. "Rear License Plate" not included.
