Description:

1961 Cadillac DeVille

All original other than the paint. I purchased this from an estate sale in California. Appears to be a 1 owner car. Owned by "Mary Jane Butter". Starts right up when cold and runs very smooth. The transmission shifts as designed.
390 V8. Automatic trans. Power windows, NO A/C. Just had all brakes replaced including master cylinder and booster. Also received new valve cover gaskets, cap rotor and wires, 4 New coker white walls tires. Oil change and coolant drain and fill.
This car drives down the road like a Caddy. Smooth and straight.
MOST of the chrome and stainless is there. All of it could use a good polishing. It is damage free for the most part. No dents, etc.

The heater fan works, the windows work, the power seat works. The windshield washer pump works, but the wipers do not. The speedo does not. It needs a cable. Very solid car. Floor pans, trunk pans, the entire underneath of the car is very clean. No rust issues underneath at all. Originally black exterior with "tuxedo interior". The car has been painted teal at some point, then was painted primer black. This car could be driven and enjoyed as is. It could also get an interior, a paint job and very a very decent car. Or it could be fully restored and made into a resto mod. The car gets all kinds of attentionwhereverI drive it. It is a lot of fun and very cool.
