Up for sale we have a 1959 Cadillac Series 62 2 Door Hard Top. This Caddy had a full resto with the chrome being redone as well as the stainless being polished. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd driveline of the Cadillac, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. We will start off with the exterior of the '59. When you walk around this ride the body is straight as an arrow with good fit of all the panels. There is a lot of stainless on this classy ride that all fits well, nd it all appears to have been cleaned and polished. The stainless around the light tinted glass is also in very good condition. Also, ll the glass is in very good shape and appears to be factory. The bumpers are in great condition and look to have been re-chromed at the time of the resto with the door handles being replaced. All the weather stripping and roof rubber has been replaced on this Caddy. The outside features the driver remote mirror. The body is covered in the factory correct two tone Georgian Blue and Dover White paint scheme that has a deep rich shine and shows well. Inside the jams and trunk are very nice as well. The final exterior touch is the set of Wide White with the full size Caddy Hub Caps.
Next, e will take a look on the inside of the Caddy. The interior is also done in the correct style Blue & Black Carlisle Metallic Cloth and Blue Metallic coated fabric. Also, he carpet is done in blue with the white headliner. The padded dash looks very good as well. When you look at the dash it looks as it would with all the stainless appearing very good with a good fit as well. It has the factory power windows and cruise control along with the Factory A/C.
Finally, e will take a look at the driveline of the Cadillac. Under the hood everything is detailed very nice. The engine is a 390 CI V8. Everything looks correct down to the factory breather and valve covers. The trans is a Hydramatic that's mated to the stock style rear end. This '59 comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes. When you look under it you will see stock floor pans that are in very good condition along with a solid frame.
