Big block 430 torque monster
low mileage AZ

Americas Love for the family 4 dr car is coming back!
and cars like this are at the top over buyers list.
VERY solid and complete car - has been in Az many yrs if
not its whole life. Even these older 4 dr cars are hardly
seen on the roads or car shows anymore, but when
people see them driving around, they immediately take
notice of these land yachts.
This car was parked since back in the early 2008 but
before that hardly driven by an older owner.
Mileage shows about 27k and could be
original, but cant verify it with docs, but the cars
overall condition, looks possible, and knowing its history
of not ever being driven much ever, could be.
It really doesnt need alot of resto, but all depends on what
you want your final outcome to be like.
We have a low reserve and in the end, its easily worth it.

LOW RESERVE ...bid it to win it !
Just give it a light resto and enjoy taking the family out
in it like it was 1970 all over again.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
These Classic Family Luxury/Performance sedans values are on the rise and
becoming more popular then ever. This Wildcat has been sitting well about 13 yrs
here in AZ,.in a carport. The exterior white has had at least one repaint over the yrs.
The blue interior is very original and not bad shape for its age at all. The only real
wear and tear is mostly noticeable front bench seat. The carpet had had the oem
rubber Buick floormats on for yrs and looks great. Comes with keys and
clean Az title. When you turn the key it starts up after a few tries, and runs pretty well for
sitting so long. The carb will need to be rebuilt (or replaced) before it can be a daily
driver from sitting so long. Gas tank will need to be cleaned out too of course.
For the meantime, we are running it off a small fuel tank under the
hood and E fuel pump, because the gas in the tank really needs to be cleaned out
before making it a daily driver. It may need a new mechanical pump too.

Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.

DRIVETRAIN: factory V8 big block,Trans and rearend appear to be original. With the current fuel set up, the car starts with the key
pretty easily, and Ive driven it around the block a few times. Trans
shifts fine and motor sounds good. No weird noises or any smoke.
It will need to have the carb rebuilt (or replaced) before making it a
daily driver. It may need some new plugs and wires too. The oil is very
clean for how old the engine is.
Some new belts and hoses in place and new fresh oil change and filter.
Even before the oil was changed, it was very clean but it was done
anyways. Factory carb runs pretty good for sitting so long, but theres
a good chance, the new owner may want to take it off and clean it
inside some too. Some days the motor seems to run smoother then
others when Im moving it around. Usually that points to carb issues.
Does have factory A, all there the blows (just not cold at the moment)

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has taken its toll on
much of it, but in some areas its not bad. Some of the plastic trim
parts are very dry and brittle. Dash is actually in great shape.
All the glass is good, except a few chips in the front windshield.
Mostly complete all inside and very usable as is, or you can go the
extra step and finish for a finished look. Windows all roll up and
down etc, but could prob use some grease on the tracks etc.
Az keeps things pretty dry. I think all the gauges etc work, but did
notice the gas gauge is pegged on full, and pretty sure its not full.
Dash, dome and trunk lights...all in working order. The gauge
cluster area is also in amazing shape too. Also has optional rear
Power Antenna, and factory in dash AC. It blows great, just not cold.
It was working when the car was parked in 08.

EXTERIOR:the pretty amazing for its age, and I couldnt find any
evidence of previous repairs anywhere. It was repainted the stock
Polar White back in the 80s (no clear coat) Old enamel paint. Its a
little dry and rough in spots, but its possible it could be cut and buffed
back too. The chrome and stainless are in pretty amazing shape too
for being a 69 model. All the exterior lights seem to work too, from
front to rear as do the turn signals. Even the Revers lights work !
The style of both front grill and rear tails is just amazing for its era.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
make out, basically the way it came out of the factory except
some stuff replaced over the yrs from normal wear n tear.
Still rides pretty nice, and power brakes work great. This car has the
largest drum brakes Ive ever seen, and the front use aluminum
finned drums too. Keep in mind, this cars not been restored so things
are going to need to be replaced in the future, but for now the cars
pretty solid and mechanically sound. Sort out the fuel system and
start driving it and see how it goes. Oh, the tires are fair. Slightly
mismatched 2 sizes on it for now, but they are fine for moving
the car around and for transportation. Expect to buy new tires before
making it a daily driver. They are 225-75r-15s. All the stuff in the
trunk looks very clean and sorted. NO rust of rot under the stock
rubber trunk mat and no signs of previous damage etc. All the jack
stuff looks to be there still too.
Az was nice to the suspension while showing very little signs
of rust etc under there too. While under the car, Id suggest
dropping the tank and having it cleaned etc. Prob do some new
rubber fuel lines too of course.
Mild rust under the car -Certainly nothing like an 50+ yr old East coast car.

Probably The BEST represented Wagons on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for months.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Many of these cars went to the crusher 20 yrs ago
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

On Sep-04-20 at 13:40:07 PDT, seller added the following information:

I went to move the car today and it wouldnt start in PARKunless I held up the lever on the P due to the worn neutralsafety switch. I also put it down in N and it started no problem
Also I think the rubber fuel line back by thegas tank it cracked and leaking some. I can smell the old
gas when Im under the car. Im sure it would get changed soon
anyways, but just a heads up.
